Claire and Daniel have known each other since high school, que the happy tears! I loved nothing more than seeing their long love story unfold with all of their favorite people around them. I was only able to connect with this couple via face-time before their big day, which seems like it would be a little nerve wracking but everything went off without a hitch! This Jamaican destination wedding was somewhat of a mystery, as the couple really just went with their gut on many decisions and trusted that their vendors and resort of choice knew best. And boy were they right! Their ideal wedding weekend was full of fun, relaxation, and time to connect with those around them to celebrate their special day. They got just that!

Jamaica is magical. Between the sandy beaches, stunning sunsets, and loving energy of all the humans that call Jamaica home, there is no better place to start your forever if you ask me. Claire and Daniel’s wedding was held at Sandals in Negril! All inclusive experience, that even offered water sports! Their ceremony was held on the beach, and instead of saying the traditional “I do” they said “ Ya Mon!” and sealed it with a kiss! The reception was held under this very simplistic and dreamy beach bungalow, and the DJ had everyone on the dance floor moving and grooving! The staff were so warm and welcoming, and truly made everyone feel like family on their island. There wasn’t a dry eye on the beach, including me! Oh..and the coconut shrimp was the best I’ve ever had, I would go back just for that!

There is a saying in Jamaica that goes “don’t worry about a thing, cause everything little thing is gonna be alright” and it really was the case for Claire and Daniel. There is something so special about letting go of your small worries and stresses and really letting the day unfold as it will. I felt so blessed to be trusted along the way with this couple, they even told me flying in a photographer was one of the best decisions they made looking back on it. This Jamaican destination wedding stole my heart, and so did my wonderful couple. Ya Mon!!
