90’S Hits In North Folk, and a Mothers Intuition
Ever heard that a mothers intuition is always right? Well it rings true with this love story! This North Folk wedding was jam packed with 90’s hits, but let’s tell their love story first. Ashlee was bartending one evening as a group of women took their seats, little did she know her prince charming was well on his way into her heart. And they didn’t even know it! Jason’s mother began showing Ashlee photos, and chatting with her a bit about her son. Jason was a bit reluctant when his mom came home with a girl’s phone number, but he gave it a whirl and never looked back. He told me that he knew after their first date that she was the one, how sweet is that!
Ashlee and Jason pulled out all the stops for their wedding! Let’s start with her dress… an insanely beautiful Hayley Paige gown that had everyone’s jaws on the floor, including mine! Wedding guests came from all over the US to celebrate their love. In lieu of a rehearsal dinner, they had a cocktail party! This way all of their guests could get to know each other a little bit more prior to the big day, I absolutely love this idea and hope that other couples consider this as an option as well! Then came party time, and boy did they party! Imagine the feeling of singing around your house at the top of your lungs with no cares? Yeah, this was the energy they all brought to the dance floor!! The 90’s hits were back to back, and the dance floor was jam packed!
My heart was so full after their wedding, seeing how many people traveled from all over to celebrate their love and the next chapter says so much about how adored Ashlee and Jason are. Mothers intuition is like no other, and in this case it was her best work yet. Since having so many guests from out of town, they really took the time to make sure everyone felt cared for and accommodated! From guest bags in the room, to intentional moments for friends and family to gather. I will ever forget what a blast this crew had, all because Jason and Ashlee treated every guest like family! Love this love of theirs, congratulations newlyweds!
